California North Brand Profile…

California North is a US company (based in California, oddly enough!) which has created a unique range of skincare products for the active, rugged man. Jim Miller founded California North in 1990 in response to a demand he identified for a range of skin products made specifically for men.  Back then, many men were forced to buy women’s products to enhance their look.  However, mens skin is different to womens so Jim decided there was a gap in the market – and California North was born!

The California North line was designed to serve rugged outdoorsmen used to the harsh outdoor climates in Northern California.  Before launch, the mens skincare ranges were tested on mountain bikers, sailors, and climbers.  All Calfornia North skincare products are designed to combat the effects of the sun and associated skin damage and ageing.
